One of the primary functions of those who have staff reporting to them is to ensure that their staff are performing at the levels required of them. One of the most basic and fundamental needs of staff in helping them perform at these levels is the support they perceive they are receiving from their leaders. This essential support can be provided by the coaching that is given to employees.
