Introduction

Meetings have become an integral part of our working lives and people are spending more time in meetings. Is time spent in many of our meetings well spent? Managers and Executives spend a considerable amount of time attending meetings, but it can be uninteresting and unproductive if these meetings are not properly planned and managed.

When meetings are badly conducted, we tend to discredit them or even question their fundamental purpose. To have successful meetings, all parties have to understand their respective roles and recognise that there is a need for joint ownership of results.
