Introduction

Cultural differences between groups bring diversity of experience and approaches. But without the necessary skills in identifying breaches and prevent them, it can bring misunderstanding, tension, frustration, distrust and even conflicts in the workplace. Effective development work often hinges on appropriate and accurate interpersonal skills, even more so when communicating with colleagues and business partners with a different cultural background. In this one day workshop, participants will explore general cultural assumptions, and investigate stages of intercultural sensitivity.
