Effective Presentation Skills

No presentation can be totally successful based upon the written design alone. Programs that look good on paper can lose their effectiveness quickly if the trainer does not have the delivery skills to carry out the design requirements.

This one day workshop will equip you with the skills to "Make A Difference" in your presentation.

Objective

At the end of this workshop, the participants will:

Be ready and confident prior to a presentation.

Decide on the appropriate set-up for different types pf presentation.

Establish rapport with the participants in the shortest possible time.

Lead the participation and handle various difficult situations.

Deliver effective presentations and facilitate lively discussion.

Course Outline

During this workshop participants will learn more about:

Preparation and Set-up, e.g. 7 common power setting

Breaking the ice e.g. Get the BEST of the first 30 mins.

Be in Control e.g. Parking Lot Concept

Presentation and Discussion e.g. 10 Tips in Presentation

Methodology

Participants will learn the skills in a highly interactive environment involving peer learning, group discussions, role-playing, case studies and video Clips.

Each participant will have opportunity to learn about their own presentation skills through observation and critique from the rest.
